Zimmer and Peacock has the world's largest range of electrochemical biosensors, sometimes there are scenarios where it is important to have discrete electrical components like NTC thermistors (0402, 1005 metric), next to the sensing element so that temperature can be measured and corrected for. An example would be a pH measurement where the temperature of the sample may have to be corrected.
