These are a wire like sensor with an enzyme immobilized near the tip. The electrodes are a Gen 1 or Gen 2 CGM/CLM sensor with a reference electrode.
built on. Please note that ZP has used a number of diameters of working electrodes over the years, but today we prefer 500 micron wire working electrode diameter.
Please contact Zimmer and Peacock for large quotes regarding high volume manufacturing.
Below is data from a ZP type 1 CGM sensor.
Below is data from a ZP wire potassium sensor
Please note that these wire sensors come in two diameters:
1) Diameter 200 microns - A sensor based on a platinum wire with a 200 micron platinum core.
2) Diameter 500 microns - A senor based on a platinum wire with a 500 micron platinum core.
Please note from a robustness perspective and 'ease-of-manufacturing' we advise on the 500 micron wire.
The CGM/CLM sensors from ZP are standardly available as three types:
If you are wondering how to make electrical connection with your wire sensor see the connector block below.
